It's Life

It's Life, originally uploaded by createoften.

The book is getting thicker and I am glad for it. To be honest, I have never finished a mini book I have started. lol...

I use recycled patterns with this layout. It's always fun getting photos taken while you are in your element. Has your husband ever wanted to get a photo of you while you are totally dirty with glue up to your elbows? Yeah, my husband wanted to capture this photo of me in my latex blue gloves and spray paint with my apron on. I don't blame him. He wanted proof for my insanity. Ha!

It is so much fun to create. I have to say, it makes me the person God created me to be. Without it there is a definite hole inside me. I am thankful that I get the chance to do it everyday.

Create Well: Get a photo of you in your "element." Even if it is for a good laugh, you will be glad you did...

  2. I love your viewpoint on creation. I, too, feel there is something very sacred and special about it. I don't think I have ever had a picture of me creating...good idea. Your book is looking great!

P.S. Come and visit our blog if you would like. We love vintage clothing and vintage jewelry. My daughter and I make upcycled jewelry together. Right now I am getting some swaps ready and there are pictures of Prague and Croatia. We leave on Monday and are here for our exchange student son's wedding!

  3. Remember? Dave was taking pictures of me in front of your house when you come out wearing an apron over a really darn cute outfit, blue rubber cleaning gloves, holding a scrapbook page in one hand and a can of spray paint in another...on a mission! I laughed and said to Dave, "Look at your wife." You were a sight! And loving every minute of it! He had to capture you in your "element". I loved standing by watching!
