Heidi Swapp and Bazzill Basics - Enjoy the ViewTuesday, March 3, 2015
There is an interesting story about what inspired this layout. I saw a home in Better Homes and Gardens magazine and it was filled with coral, navy, black and white stripes, wood, and had touches of gold. When I finished my layout and showed my husband how I was inspired, he said, "Wow, you can find inspiration anywhere can't you?"
I guess I can. I think it is good to get inspiration where you least expect it. It makes the process so much more fun!
Above I added a piece of gold glitter tape from Heidi Swapp's Marquee Love collection.
I had to add some demention to my page using Bazzill Basics' new Self Adhesive Foam Sheets. They run right through the embossing and die cut machine like butter.
I did a partial die cut off this Heidi Swapp Wanderlust Kraft tag. Then I also ran Bazzill's gold foil board for the other half of the word.
I de-embossed the tag with Pink Paislee's new Citrus Bliss Pineapple embossing folder. Seriously, isn't it cute?
You can see the stripe embossing folder on this new Fresno Bling color cardstock. There is so much shine!
All the gold accents were done with Heidi Swapp's Minc and embellishements that go with the machine. I love being able to custom foil pieces to match my projects!
Create Well: Be inspired where you least expect it.
